Real Madrid team bus has been caught up in a scary accident after their UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool, MySportDab reports.
Footage of the accident, which we have shared at the end of this post, showed the luxury coach parked in a stationary position as it was stuck in a collision with a lorry.
Fortunately, there aren’t any sign of major damage to the vehicle but the bumper appeared to be wrecked due to the collision.
While details of the incident remains sketchy, the bus it collided into appears to be another heavy duty lorry also parked in a stationary position.
It is the second time Real Madrid bus have been involved in a collision.
In February 2024, the team’s ride was caught up in a fatal collision in Germany while on their trip to to honor 2023-24 UEFA Champions League fixture against RB Leipzig.
There was no significant damages incurred from the collision but the hit vehicle, which was identified as a Toyota, was wrecked with estimated repair cost pecked at £2,500.
The latest incident adds to the misery of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League winners. They had endured a winless three-match run in the competition with all ending in defeats.
At Anfield against Liverpool, the team fell short of the home side and lost 2-0, ending their eight-match unbeaten run against the Premier League club.
They will hope to bounce back from the dragging run of poor results in their next competitive fixture in the La Liga.
Meanwhile, from the footage below, it is apparent none of the players or members of the coaching sustained injuries in the accident but there is no statement from the club yet pertaining to the incident.
