Reece James Injury Return Date CONFIRMED

Reece James’ return date from his latest injury blow has been confirmed, MySportDab reports.

The Chelsea defender has struggled with a niggling injury crisis that has reduced him to only play a bit-part role in the Blues squad.

Frequenting the sidelines with spates of incessant blows, he has only managed 30 Premier League appearances in the last three seasons.

In the 2022-23 campaign, he recorded his least Premier League appearances for the Blues, managing just 16 shifts, less then half the number of games per season.

In the following season, his appearance stats dipped further as he could only manage 10 appearances in the English elite division.

In the ongoing campaign, James has managed just 4 appearances before being sidelined. Chelsea new manager Enzo Maresca confirmed the newest blow to the injury-prone right-back in his pre-match press conference before Leicester City clash last week.

While the Italian tactician gave no clues as per James’ possible return to full fitness, fans grew wary of the blow turning into another lengthy injury layoff based on the player’s injury history.

Now, according to fresh report by Ben Jacobs and also confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, James is likely to return soon  and may not tarry for long at the sidelines.

Specifically, he is expected to spent at least four weeks on rehabilitation before full recovery. This means he has been ruled out action for Chelsea this year and will only return at the start of next year.

The prolific  defender has been a key player for the Blues and was quickly reintegrated into the squad by Enzo Maresca after his recovery from the last injury . He will hope to recover quickly as reported and return to the Blues’ setup.
