British professional boxer Anthony Joshua has returned to his homeland in Ogun State, Nigeria, to celebrate the festive season with his family, MySportDab reports.

The former IBF heavyweight champion is a Nigerian by origin although he groomed and nursed his career in the UK.
He reportedly attended a local boarding school in Ikenne, Ogun State, before leaving to reside permanently in the UK after his parents divorced.
Joshua has had a flourishing career in boxing despite recent setbacks. He has totaled 32 fights, winning 28, and losing 4. 25 of his 28 wins has been by KO.
His last fight ended in a defeat to fellow British boxer and IBF champion Daniel DuBois after being knocked down in the fifth round.
