Barcelona has entered the advanced stage for Jonathan’s agreement to sign him as a free agent, MySportDab reports.
The Spanish club has been working to make sure they complete a deal for the defender after Bayern Munich pulled out.
Jonathan Tah did inform Bayer Leverkusen of not wanting to sign a new contract with them despite their attempts.
The defender opted out of extending with initial plan of joining Bayern Munich which ended up not happening for him.
Everything is now looking in the direction of Barcelona who are now in an advanced position to reach an agreement.
According to reports coming from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed things are in advance with an agreement ahead of 2025 summer.

“Barça keep advancing in talks to sign Jonathan Tah, as reported already in November.
“Negotiations are progressing well to make it happen.
“The deal is only being discussed on a free transfer for July 2025 with Hansi Flick also involved… not for January.
The belief with those at Barcelona is that the defender would be a good buy that will help their team improve.
Jonathan Tah already gave his approval on the move to Barcelona and it only a few things left before everything is completed.
