Former Premier League Player SENTENCED To 20 Years In JAIL!

A former Premier League player who played for Everton has been sentenced to 20 years in jail, MySportDab reports.

He had his career playing for teams likes Sheffield United and Everton during his time in England before moving on.

The sentence after he was faced with a long investigation which he ended up being found guilty of the said crime.

He was said to have been involved in multiple occasions for bribery and demanding cash from individuals for a spot.

According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed Li Tie who played for Everton and Sheffield United have been sentenced to jail.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Former Everton and Sheffield United player Li Tie has been sentenced to 20 years in jail.

“He was found guilty of “accepting and offering bribes” while manager of China, and for being involved in match-fixing while manager of Hebei China Fortune & Wuhan Zall.

He is expected to also not get involved on anything Football for the rest of his life as the crime he committed go against every rule of the game.

Li Tie who is 47 years old will become 67 years by the time he is done with his sentence which is expected to last for 20 years.
