Chelsea made light work of 10-man Southampton by thrashing them 1-5 to move second on the Premier League table, MySportDab reports.
Christopher Nkunku was among the goal scorers after coming in as the starting striker ahead of Nicholas Jackson.
The Saints saw themselves being reduced after a VAR decision making them to play with one player down for the most of the Match.

It was a good start from the Blues who did not take much time to score the opening goal in the 7th minute through Axel Disasi to make it 0-1.
Southampton were stunned early with Enzo Fernandez making the assist before Joe Aribo leveled things in the 11th minute to 1-1.
Chelsea pushed for more with Christopher Nkunku making it count with a stunner in the 17th minute after getting the assist from Noni Madueke who made it 1-2.
Madueke was able to get something for himself in the 34th minute a nice pass from Joao Felix which the England international made it count 1-3.

The remaining 45 minutes was one sided which the Blues dominated and made sure they finished off the job so well.
Chelsea increased their lead in the 77th minute after so much pressing which saw Cole Palmer made it 1-4 with an assist from Christopher Nkunku.
Southampton managed well enough but couldn’t stop Jason Sancho who made it 1-5 in the 87th minute with Malo Gusto setting up the assist.
Chelsea took all three points beating Southampton 1-5 to put themselves in the second position on the Premier League table with yet another impressive result.
