Kyle Walker REACTS To Ramus Hojlund’s Mocking Post After Manchester Derby

The highly-anticipated Premier League Manchester Derby on Sunday wasn’t without hiccups and heated moments, MySportDab reports.

With the two teams meeting on the back of declining fortunes in the English top flight, the stage was set for not just a thriller but a spirited clash.

Meanwhile, under the watch of Pep Guardiola, City have exerted undisputed dominance over their struggling neighbours and arch-rivals.

And with a new manager in Ruben Amorim barely two months into the role at Old Trafford, the defending champions were favourites to sweep through with victory despite their recent struggles.

Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for the home side, scoring a brilliant header from Kevin De Bruyne’s deflected strike from the corner area.

The goal was enough to send the hosts into the break with a deserved lead. However, United had other plans.

After City nearly ran through to the finish line, they conceded  a spot-kick with just two minutes of regulation time left after Matheus Nunes brought down Amad in the box.

United skipper Bruno Fernandes made no mistake crashing it into the net to level the score.

Two minutes after the equalizer, Lisandro Martinez caught out the hosts’ leaky backline with a long ball over the top to Amad Diallo.

And the Ivorian winger, who has been in sparkling form this season, comfortably lobbed it over an on-rushing Ederson to score the winner at exactly the 90th minute.

The clutch goal saw the Red Devils complete a stunning comeback against the cross-city rivals to bag all three points at Etihad and wrap up the heated clash.

However, for Rasmus Hojlund and Kyle Walker, the in-play tensed moments continued off the field.

During the game, the pair clashed and locked heads after Walker challenged the Danish forward for a cynical challenge.

And Hojlund did not spare the hints celebrating United’s win with a sarcastic post on Instagram featuring the clash scene with Walker.

He wrote on the post, ”Manchester is red. Violets are Blue. What a brilliant performance but the Oscars goes to..”

Reacting to the IG post, Kyle Walker reposted it on his story and wrote, “Unacceptable,” registering his disapproval of the United forward’s remark.

Meanwhile, City have now lost eight of their 11 matches in all competitions, drawing two, and winning one following the defeat.

Conversely, United manager Ruben Amorim became the first Manchester United manager after Sir Alex Ferguson to win his first Manchester Derby match.
