Manchester United have taken a drastic decision following Dan Ashworth leaving his sporting director role, MySportDab reports.
The club announced the exit of now their former sporting director after few months of being appointed.
The decision by Dan Ashworth to leave has forced Manchester United over making a drastic decision concerning the vacant position.
It is expected to be so many changes at Old Trafford since Ruben Amorim joined the club as their new manager.
The club are looking to make sure that they have everyone working on same goal as ensuring the club start performing.
However, Dan Ashworth exit is one which have left a hole at the club with his unexpected exit after moving to the club months ago.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed Manchester United have decided not to appoint anyone for the Sporting Director position.

“The club have scrapped the role of sporting director.
The club make the change would see a more different approach from other clubs operation behind the scene.
Manchester United will carry on without any Sporting Director as the decision to scrap the position has been confirmed by them.
