Mohamed Salah has come under fire from his Moslem fans for dropping his routine Christmas post with family, MySportDab reports.

The high-flying Liverpool winger has made it a tradition to share in the festivities and celebrations of Christmas with posh and sleek family post each year.

He has been usually blasted by some of his fans who are Muslims for those posts.

This year’s post didn’t take a separate trajectory with the fans lashing out at him again.

A fan wrote, “You let me down bro.”

”Delete this right now,” posted another.

A third wrote: ”At this point am just disappointed in you bro.”

However, amidst the backlash some fans jumped to the defense of the Egyptian winger.

“Merry Christmas Mo. Ignore all these idiots. Hope you and your family have a well deserved holiday season,” one wrote.

Another posted: ”In what has become an annual tradition on Christmas Day, I read and enjoy the comments on post for an hour. Never disappoints.”

While Salah has always stoked controversies with his Christmas post, it appears the footballer isn’t ready to give in, underlining his respect for other religions outside his faith.

Salah has been in the form of his life for Liverpool and is currently leading the 2025 Ballon d’Or Power Rankings.

He has 15 Premier League goals with 11 assists in 16 games; 2 in 6 Champions League games with 4 assists.

Despite his standout performances, he is still facing an uncertain future at the club with a few months left to his contract and no new deal in place.

He has been linked to PSG or a move to Saudi Arabia but his chances of renewing deal with Liverpool is not foreclosed.

Sources close to the club have confirmed offer has been made to the player but both parties have yet to reach an agreement.
