Manchester United have been recently linked with a move for fast-rising English young winger Tyler Dibling, MySportDab reports.
The 18-year-old has stole the spotlights lately in the Premier League with series of showstopping performances for Southampton in the English top-flight.
His attacking flair, footwork, and dribbling skills measure well above his age, projecting him as one of the most exciting thing talents to watch out for.
United are strongly linked with the youngster, including other top European clubs but a move away from the Saints this summer is likely out of the cards.
Addressing rumors of the youngster’s link to Manchester United, Southampton manager Martin Russells dropped a sarcastic note.
According to him, while the club may be open to a possible transfer of Dibling, Manchester United’s rumored £21m proposed bid will be met with outright rejection.
He went on to add Southampton have offered Dibling a new contract but has yet to have it signed by the player with his agent not agreeing to the deal.
“I heard rumours of Manchester United ready to send £21m bid for Tyler Dibling… I’m not sure they’d get his left foot for that”.
“We offered him a new contract, it’s a very good one but his agent doesn’t agree as of now,”he said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
Dibling has a running three-year contract with Southampton till 2026 but is strongly linked to a possible move away from the club this summer in the wake of interests from top European clubs.
He has a price tag of £20.6m, as per reports, but Southampton may be force to settle for less despite Martin’s recent admission since the player has refused to sign a new deal.
West Ham United are a big mention in the race for the player with reports the club’s scout have been on the trail of the fast-rising sensation.
