Amad Diallo Signs New Manchester United Contract

Amad Diallo has penned down a new long-term contract with Manchester United to cap a magical turnaround for the Ivorien footballer, MySportDab reports. 

United confirmed the new deal in a statement on the club’s website. Reacting to his new contract, Diallo expressed his joy in signing a new deal, adding he is ready to make history with the club.

“I am really proud to have signed this new contract. I have had some incredible moments with this club already but there is so much more to come. I have huge ambitions in the game and I want to achieve history at Manchester United,” he said.

Manchester United technical director Jason Wilcox was full of praise for the 22-year-old, expressing his delight for the immense progress and development of the player.

“Everyone is delighted with Amad’s development; his quality on the ball, versatility and determination makes him a key part of the future of Manchester United,” he said.

Diallo’s new contract heralds a new chapter in the footballer’s career after a dry spell that lasted for three seasons.

He joined the club in 2021 and hd struggled to break into the squad without success until the final phase of the 2023-24 season when he began to gain a little foothold under former manager Erik ten Hag.

This season, he has recorded remarkable progress, breaking into the team’s regular lineup and proving a cog in new manager Ruben Amorim’s squad.

He has scored six goals with seven assists this season and has won United’s Player of the Month Award twice.
