Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has backed Vinicius Junior after he was sent off against Valencia, MySportDab reports.
The Madrid manager believes the decision to send his player off shouldn’t have happened in the game or resulted to anything more.
Carlo Ancelotti played down the referee decision which was against Vinicius Junior who was sent off the game against Valencia.
The whole incident happened in the final minutes of the game which saw the Real Madrid forward pushed his opponent goalkeeper.
It was said that the Valencia goalkeeper did same to the player which prompted a reaction from him to do the same.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Carlo Ancelotti comments concerning the situation which happened last night.

“It was not a red card for Vinicius Jr. We will appeal”.
“The goalkeeper pushed him and Vini responded. It should’ve been a yellow for both and that’s it”.
The Madrid manager isn’t pleased with the situation that took place knowing it could have been a yellow card given.
He has confirmed they will look to get the red card revoked as they believed it wasn’t the right decision to have happened.
Meanwhile for the moment Carlo Ancelotti is expected to be without Vinicius Junior ahead of their upcoming game in the League.
