Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to a new Al-Nassr contract, MySportDab reports.

The Man United and Real Madrid legend had been on the last chapters of his Al-Nassr spell with barely six months left on his two-and-a-half-year contract.

With his contract expiring soon, there have been speculations on his next career stop away from the Saudi outfit.

Now, according to Portuguese outlet abola, Ronaldo has agreed a new contract with the Saudi outfit to continue his career in the Saudi elite division.

The report adds the Portuguese footballing icon is ready to extend his stay with the club by one more season till 2026.

This will take his spell with Al-Nassr to three-and-a-half years. This means the five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants will play in the 2026 World Cup in the Portugal national while still at the Saudi club.

It is evident the tournament will be Ronaldo’s last as he is nearing the twilights of his career and playing in the tournament while still at Al-Nassr means he is ready to wrap his career in the Saudi Pro League.

Since joining the Riyadh-based outfit in 2022, Ronaldo has been remarkable, dominating the league with standout performances.

He currently holds the record for the most League goals in a single season, after netting a staggering 36 goals last season.

However, despite his unrivaled individual success in the league, he has only one silverware – the Kings Cup – to show for it and has failed to clinched the league title – his most sought-after silverware.

This season, he has continued on his impressive performances, scoring 11 league goals with 2 assists in 13 matches but the team has fallen nine points behind joint-league leaders – Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad with 14 matches into the season.

He will hope to relaunch the team into the race for the title as the season wears on.
