Cristiano Ronaldo has reaffirmed his commitment to Al Nassr, dismissing speculation of a potential January transfer as he remains focused on helping the Saudi club achieve success, MySportDab Reports.
The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar moved to Al Nassr in early 2023 after his second stint at Manchester United ended prematurely. He signed a lucrative two-and-a-half-year contract reportedly worth £177 million, set to expire this summer.
Despite rumors linking him with a shock return to Europe—most notably to Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain—Ronaldo insists his priority is to see out his contract and push Al Nassr towards silverware.
“I’m happy, my family is happy. We started a new life in this beautiful country,” Ronaldo told the Saudi Pro League media. “Football is good, and in terms of individual and collective performances, we are still improving. It’s tough competing with teams like Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, but we keep pushing and fighting.”
Ronaldo remains a key figure for Al Nassr, leading the club’s charge in both domestic and continental competitions. He emphasized his desire to win the AFC Champions League, highlighting his determination to bring success to the PIF-backed club.
“The Champions League is something I want to win for Al Nassr. But the most important thing is to stay professional, respect the club and contract, and believe that things will change for the better,” he added.
Widely regarded as one of football’s greatest-ever players, Ronaldo boasts an illustrious career spanning over two decades. He has won five Ballons d’Or, multiple Champions League titles with Real Madrid and Manchester United, and led Portugal to European Championship glory.
As Al Nassr aims for silverware, Ronaldo’s unwavering commitment provides a major boost to the club’s ambitions for the remainder of the season.
