FT: FCSB 0-2 Manchester United, Kobbie Mainoo STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Kobbie Mainoo was on target as Manchester United claimed a 0-2 victory against FCSB in their final game for the Europa League group stage, MySportDab reports.

Diogo Dalot was also on target for the Premier League club who rounded off the League phase for this season’s second-tier European club tournament.

Tyrell Malacia received an early yellow card for a challenge on Florin Tănase, and Kobbie Mainoo missed a significant chance before halftime.

Rasmus Højlund also saw his header saved by the FCSB goalkeeper who put out an incredible first half performance.

Manager Ruben Amorim made tactical adjustments at the break, introducing Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo to bolster the attack.

These changes paid off as United intensified their offensive efforts with them getting to cause so much damages.

In the 59th minute, Diallo delivered a precise cross to the back post, where Diogo Dalot was positioned to slot the ball into the net, breaking the deadlock.

Building on this momentum, United extended their lead nine minutes later. Garnacho provided a well-timed pass to Mainoo, who calmly finished, doubling the advantage.

Mainoo’s performance was particularly noteworthy, as he excelled in an advanced midfield role, contributing both a goal and an assist.

It was an important victory which saw United ending the League phase of the Europa without losing any games and also finished third.
