FT: Manchester City 3-1 Chelsea, Erling Haaland STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Erling Haaland scored as Manchester City came from behind to beat Chelsea 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium, MySportDab reports.

The first half of the encounter laid a foundation of what many fans expected to happen between both teams who looked good.

Pep Guardiola’s side continued with their dominance against the London Club who have struggled to produce results against them for a while.

The game started with Pep Guardiola giving his two new signings their first start after completing their moves during the week.

Manchester City had Omar Marmoush and Abdukodir Khusanov starting the game which had both players having to struggle in the opening minutes.

Abdukodir Khusanov’s error saw Nicolas Jackson capitalized and delivered a pass to Noni Madueke who was able to make things 0-1 for Chelsea in the 3rd minute.

The game continued with Omar Marmoush getting the ball inside the net, but he was quickly flagged for offside as the encounter carried on

Joško Gvardiol was able to bring Manchester City level in the 42nd minute which saw them playing a 1-1 scoreline against Chelsea in the first half.

It was another 45 minutes of action between both teams who came in looking sharp and pushed to get an early lead going forward.

Chelsea looked decent enough as they pushed while making sure everything was good at the back with them playing more of a high line.

Manchester City took the lead in the 68th minute after a long kick from Ederson saw Robert Sanchez rush off his line with Erling Haaland making it count 2-1.

Things weren’t looking good for the London club as Erling Haaland set Phil Foden who increased the advantage to 3-1 in the 87th minute.

Manchester City claimed all three points which pushed them into fourth position from the 3-1 victory against Chelsea who are now on the sixth position.
