FT: Real Madrid 4-1 Las Palmas, Kylian Mbappe Scored BRACE [Video Highlights]

Kylian Mbappe scored a brace as Real Madrid put Las Palmas to rout to go top of the La Liga table, MySportDab reports.

Los Blancos went into the game just a point behind league leaders Atletico Madrid who suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Leganes on Saturday.

They needed victory over the visitors to go two points clear at the top and the task was completed right from the first half with Kylian Mbappe leading the pack to secure a comprehensive victory.

Las Palmas first opened the scoring just in the first minute of the game, thanks to Silva’s strike.

However, it took the Carlo Ancelotti-led side 17 minutes to level the score. Kylian Mbappe converted from the spot after the visitors conceded a penalty to make it 1-1.

A few minutes after Mbappe’s equalizer, Diaz fired Real Madrid into the lead, thanks to an assist by Lucas Vazquez.

Three minutes after Diaz’s goal, Kylian Mbappe netted his second goal to bag his brace before the break.

It ended 3-1 in the first 45 with Real Madrid leading comfortably after coming from a goal down.

The second half was no different. Los Blancos continued to dominate proceedings from the start.

It didn’t take long before they scored the fourth goal to re-extend the lead. Rodrygo netted from Garcia’s assist to make it 4-1.

Four minutes after the hour mark, Las Palmas suffered a bigger blow with Ramirez picking up a red card to put the away on a one-man disadvantage.

Late in the game, Jude Bellingham also registered his name in the scoresheet to make it 5-1 but the goal was later chalked off after review.

Proceedings ended with Real Madrid winning 4-1 to go two points clear at the top of the table.
