This goal marked Vardy’s seventh of the season and placed him among only five players aged 37 or older to have contributed to at least 10 goals in a Premier League season.

His goal was him joining the likes of Teddy Sheringham, Gary Speed, Ryan Giggs, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Leicester continued to press, and their efforts were rewarded in the 50th minute when Bilal El Khannouss found the net from the edge of the box, giving the Foxes a 2-1 lead.

Tottenham’s attempts to equalize were thwarted by Leicester’s resolute defense and a standout performance from the goalkeeper, who made several crucial saves to preserve the lead.
