Galatasaray have reportedly advanced in a shock move for Alvaro Morata, MySportDab reports.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid attacker joined AC Milan last summer from Atletico Madrid.

He has made only 15 league appearances for the club, scoring 5 goals, and is reportedly ready for a new challenge away from the Serie A side just a few months into his contract.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray are close to deal with AC Milan for the player and agreement could be reached in the next couple of hours.

AC Milan are open to his exit. The reason for Alvaro Morata’s imminent Chelsea exit is not far-fetched.

According to Italian outlets, the veteran forward is not seeing eye to eye with new AC Milan manager Sergio Conceicaco.

During the Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb, sources close to the team reveal the player was not happy to be subbed off prematurely in the game.

This and several other episodes behind the camera must have necessitated his decision to leave.

With the January transfer window winding down soon, the player is reportedly hopeful of sealing a transfer exit to open a new chapter in his career.

As things stand, a move is likely with Galatasaray equally open to speeding up transfer proceedings to beat the deadline for his signature.

Morata remains one of the most prolific forwards in the game with an intimidating profile in La Liga, Premier League, and Serie A.

However, it appears he may be nearing the twilights of his career. His imminent move to Galatasaray will mark his sixth career stop after spells with Real Madrid, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and AC Milan.
