Neymar is set to return to his boyhood club from Al-Hilal, MySportDab reports.

According to Fabrizio Romano, it is just a matter of time before the former Barcelona and PSG winger call it a wrap in his career away in Europe and Asia.

Having agreed personal terms with the boyhood club and Al-Hilal are open to his exit, he is likely to leave before the end of the transfer window.

“Neymar’s return to Santos now imminent as verbal agreement has been reached.

“Formal steps to follow next week for final formula of the deal from Al Hilal and contracts to be checked.

“Neymar already said yes to the move,” Fabrizio Romano said.

Neymar’s imminent Al-Hilal exit will bring an end to the footballer’s storied career in Europe and Asia.

The 32-year-old had his best career at Barcelona where he won the La Liga, Champions League, and other club trophies.

Known for his entertaining and sleek style of football, Neymar won hearts with his heroics for Barcelona but later leave the club to PSG.

At PSG, he shone bright, winning several French domestic trophies but was short of success in Europe.

His move to Al-Hilal in 2023 marked a major turning point in his career. At the Saudi outfit, Neymar hugged the headlines for his outrageous wages but limited game time.

He raked in millions of Euros monthly but could only manage just 7 matches for the club since 2023.

He missed the bulk of the 2023-24 season due to injury and hasn’t been registered for the second half of the Saudi Pro League season since returning from injury due to fitness issues.

His imminent return to Santos marks the end of his epic and storied career journey in Europe and Asia.
