Rasmus Hojlund has missed a sitter in Man United’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield, MySportDab reports.

The Dutch forward was clear on goal thanks to a long pass ver the top but could not convert the great chance.

After comfortably receiving the pass, he came one-on-one with Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker. A simple lob would have beaten the Brazilian goalie but he chose to thread a low shot.

Becker spread his legs and blocked the strike, producing one of the finest saves in the game, to keep Liverpool from conceding.

While the Danish forward missed the big chance, Alisson earned the credit for the stunning save.

It was one of the rare chances United got to turn the game around following a marathon of pressure from the hosts.

Hojlund’s miss saw United end the first half barren as they settled for a 0-0 draw with Liverpool equally unable to break the deadlock.

Man United goalkeeper Andre Onana equally had a great first half, producing a stunning save early in the game to deny Marc Allister and keep United in the game.

It was a game of few chances but the Reds were more threatening when lurching forward while United struggle to break even with possession.

Overall, United had a great first half holding off the leaders with a strong and resilient performance but Hojlund’s miss dominated the headlines with United missing the golden chance to take an unlikely lead.
