BREAKING! Victor Boniface Accepts Move to Saudi Arabia

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has accepted a potential move to Saudi Arabia, MySportDab reports.

The former Bodo/Glimt and Union Saint-Gilloise player had attracted interest from Saudi clubs following an impressive debut season with Bayer Leverkusen in the 2023-24 campaign.

MySportDab understands Al-Nassr have been leading the race for the forward and are hoping to seal a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for a move this January.

However, it was unclear whether the player is open to a move to Saudi Arabia or not.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Victor Boniface had accepted a potential move to Saudi Arabia hence Al-Nassr’s push for a deal.

At the time of filing this report, Al-Nassr representatives are said to be in Germany for talks with Bayer Leverkusen for both club and player offer.

No bid has been tabled yet but the Saudi giants are expected to churn out a considerable sum for the Bundesliga giants with the player also likely to bag a lucrative offer.

With Boniface and  Leverkusen open to a move, the only stumbling block to a potential transfer will be an offer that falls off the pecking of the Bundesliga giants.

Boniface is one of the most terrific forwards in Europe. His standout performances in the 2023-24 campaign made the difference as Bayer Leverkusen won the German Championship for the first time.

This season, he enjoyed a prolific start to the campaign before being sidelined with an injury. Nevertheless, he has racked up 7 goals plus an assist in 13 appearances in all competitions.

A move to Al-Nassr will see him replace Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca who has left to Fenerbache this January.
