Nigeria Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has broken his silence on an alleged fallout between him and a Turkish journalist in a nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey, MySportDab reports.

According to Turkish outlet, Posta, Osimhen fell out with the journalist for taking a picture of him at the nightclub without his approval.

He asked the journalist to delete the picture but the latter refused and this got him angrier. He then allegedly tried to get the camera and delete the picture by force, punching and threatening the journalist in the process.

In the words of the journalist;

“We were filming Osimhen outside with three of my colleagues. When the flash went off he lost it.

“He ran towards me shouting. He tried to take my camera but I held on. And then he punched me. I’m still in pain.

“He started sweating and said, ‘delete the video and I will pay you.’

“I refused, and then he threatened me saying, ‘I will destroy you.”

Now, reacting to the allegation by the journalist, Osimhen denied punching him saying the law will take its course on the saga [Watch Video of Osimhen’s response here on Twitter]

At the time of filing this report, Galatasaray have yet to comment on the matter with legal proceedings set to take centre stage.

Osimhen has been in fine form for Galatasaray both in the Super Lig and Europe League since he joined on loan from Napoli.

He has 12 Super Lig goals with 4 assists in 15 matches and 4 goals plus an assist in 5 Europa League matches.

While perfectly acing his game with the Turkish giants, close sources reveal his future lies away from the club.

Top European clubs are interested in signing him but his loan contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
