Vinicius Jr stoke reactions during Real Madrid’s La Liga clash against Valencia, MySportDab reports.

Los Blancos had locked horns with the La Liga side in what was expected to be a walk-over for the European champions.

Valencia went into the game as underdogs, sitting 19th on the La Liga table.

However, they pulled an upset just a few minutes into the game. Duro scored three minutes before the half-hour to give the Mestalla-based outfit an unlikely lead.

Duro’s goal was enough to send fire the team into the lead at the break with Madrid failing to mount a comeback.

10 minutes into the second half, the Ancelotti-led team got a penalty and Bellingham had a chance to nail home the equaliser but missed it to the relief of the opponents.

Valencia held off against the searing pressure and were handed a big boost in their bold attempt to secure victory when Vinicius Jr saw a red card for confronting the opponents’ goalkeeper.

The incident was initially overlooked but after VAR review, he was handed the red card for the challenge.

Reacting to the red card, he went furious and attempted to confront the referee but was held off by his teammates and directed to the dressing room. Watch Video on X.

Notably, Real Madrid were still trailing Valencia by the lone goal when Vinicius Jr was given marching orders.

However, despite playing with one-man disadvantage, Los Blancos made light of the Brazilian’s absence and fought back to complete a stunning comeback, thanks to two late goals by Luka Modric and Jude Bellingham in the 85th and 96th minute, respectively.
