Manchester United legend Gary Neville got it tough from his fellow guest Sheamus at ‘It’s Call Soccer’ podcast, MySportDab reports.
In a funny footage that has swept the media and available at the end of this post, Sheamus, who is a renowned WWE star, a world champion, and Liverpool supporter, held the Man United legend in a tight position and forced him to admit that Liverpool will win the league.
According to Sheamus, he had waited for that opportunity to hold Neville all his life and wouldn’t let that chance to make it happen slip.
He grabbed Neville and clutch his two legs while applying pressure on his back WWE-style.
The conversation between the two struggling guests on the podcast was sharply funny as well.
”Just lay on the ground there,” Sheamus said holding down Neville.
”I feel sorry for you… do you know how long I’ve waited to do this… since I was probably 12/14-years-old,” he added.
“F**k Liverpool,” Neville responded while under the arms of the WWE star.
”Say Liverpool are number one! Say it Gary! Say it,” Sheamus ordered again before Neville then obliged and was freed.
The scenery which has been nothing but humorous became the high point of the podcast with Sheamus satisfied that he has finally got the Man United legend to praise his club Liverpool.
As expected, Neville, who dominated the Premier League with Manchester United during the Sir Alex Ferguson era, has been a strong supporter of the club, hoping to see it fly above rivals like Liverpool.
However, in the past years, the tides have turned with Liverpool enjoying better footballing fortunes than the Old Trafford club.
They are currently leading the race for the Premier League and just as Sheamus got Neville to admit, they are more likely to clinch the English top flight title this season.
