Arsenal have dropped points for two consecutive matches in the Premier League following a barren draw against Nottingham Forest tonight, MySportDab reports.
The Gunners went into the game on the back of a disappointing and shocking 1-0 home loss to West Ham United in their last match.
Against the Tricky Trees, they needed victory to get their bid for the title back on track but it ended in another disappointment.
Despite a more dominant showing away at the City Ground, the Nuno Espirito Santo-led side held firm to salvage a point from the game.
Breaking it down, Arsenal wielded over 63% of the ball possession and recorded 13 attempts on target but could not still find a breakthrough.
Nottingham Forest managed a paltry 37% of the ball possession and recorded 6 attempts but had one more on target than their opponents.
Proceedings ended with the two sides settling for a barren draw and sharing spoils.
The draw has now seen Arsenal stumble in the Premier League title race again, further widening the gap between them and league leaders Liverpool, who won against Southampton to open a 13-point gap at the top of the table.
However, the Gunners who have 54 points, have played a game less than the Reds and will hope to close the gap to 10 points when playing their outstanding matches.
They will return to action next week, travelling to take PSV Eindhoven in the 2025 Champions League round 16 first leg.
