FT: Tottenham 0-1 Man City, Haaland STRIKES! [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]

Manchester City have bounced back to winning ways tonight in the Premier League after settling for a defeat against league leaders Liverpool in their last match, MySportDab reports.

The defending champions clashed with Tottenham Hotspur away from home in what was expected to be a cracker.

It was a tricky affair as Tottenham won the possession and attack battle but had their efforts dented with an early goal that made all the difference in the game.

Erling Haaland returned to his goal-scoring form, latching on a brilliant assist from Jeremy Doku to fire the away side into the lead just 12 minutes into the game.

After conceding, Tottenham ramped up proceedings to find the equalizer but were effectively tamed by a composed City defence going forward.

The second half was no different. The hosts ramped up attempts to level the tie and possibly grab a comeback win but Manchester City were equal to the task.

The visitors matched Spurs’ energy both in attack and possession, pushing to double the lead while keeping check of the hosts’ dangerous attacks.

The two teams missed scored of clear-cut chances going forward. In the final minutes, things went nervy as Tottenham doubled up efforts to find the equalizer but failed.

Proceedings ended with Manchester City winning 1-0, thanks to Haaland’s 12th-minute goal that made the difference.

The win saw Manchester City close up the gap on Arsenal to just a point as they rack up 47 points after 27 games.
