Jude Bellingham will not be available for Real Madrid in the next two La Liga matches due to the decision of La Liga’s Competition Committee, MySportDab reports.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the decision-making body of the Spanish top flight have slammed Bellingham with a ban after Real Madrid’s appeal for his recent red card to be overturned was rejected.

Recall Real Madrid appealed the decision of center-referee to slammed Bellingham with a straight red card during the club’s La Liga match against Osasuna at the weekend.

According to the club, the decision was error-ridden, hence the need to have it overturned. On why the referee issued marching orders to the England forward, it was because of his alleged foul language in protest of the referee’s decision.

While complaining of the decision, the midfield sensation allegedly hurled slurs on the referee, saying, ‘fuck you.’ This led to the referee’s decision to send in off with the red card.

However, he has argued that he did not tell the referee ‘fuck you,’but said, ‘fuck off’ instead.

After an examination of the position of both the player and the referee, the Competition Committee reportedly agreed that Real Madrid did not have enough evidence to counter claims that he (Bellingham) verbally abused the referee.

This is why the have decided to reject the appeal and slammed a two-match on the player. This implies Bellingham will miss Madrid’s next two La Liga games.

However, the matter is still not a closed case as reports have it that Real Madrid are still ready to appeal the Competition Committee’s decision again.
