In the 87th minute, a swift counter-attack saw Fernandes complete his hat-trick with a low, well-placed finish, leaving the Sociedad defense shell-shocked.

Then, in stoppage time, Diogo Dalot sealed the win with a close-range strike, ensuring the final score was 4-1 on the night.
