Lionel Messi has put out a statement after his recent injury which ruled him out of playing for Argentina, MySportDab reports.
It was confirmed yesterday that the Inter Miami captain won’t be taking part with other Argentina players for the International window.
Lionel Messi have now give a statement confirming his decision not to join the Argentina camp for this International window.
It has been confirmed that the forward is injured despite playing recently for Inter Miami in a match they won.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the statement which was put out by Lionel Messi concerning his situation.

“I’m sad to miss these important games against Uruguay and Brazil”.
“I really wanted to play, but a small injury means I need to rest for a bit, so I can’t be there”.
“I’ll be supporting and cheering from here like any other fan. Let’s go, Argentina”.
There has been nothing confirmed on how long he will be out with his new injury he sustained before the International window.
The Argentina national team have been doing well enough and they hope to keep things consistent with their captain set to miss out.
