Manchester United have been handed a double injury boost as they prepare for a cracker Premier League tie against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, MySportDab reports.

United have had their worst Premier League campaign in years this season but will hope to turn things around against the Tricky Trees, who are pushing for a top-four finish.

Ahead of the match, Man United manager Ruben Amorim has delivered updates on the availability of players.

Notably, United have grappled with a chronic injury crisis this season with their key players sidelined.

Leading the list of major and frequent absentees from the squad this season is Luke Shaw who has been struggling with a niggling ankle issue.

Lisandro Martinez is also sidelined and has been ruled out of the rest of the season.

Recently added to that injury list have been Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro. Maguire got injured during United’s FA Cup defeat to Marco Silva’s Fulham.

He has missed four matches since then and has been left in the care of the club’s medical ward.

Leny Yoro, who was tipped to be a rare gem and big prospect for Amorim’s signature three-man tactics, picked up an injury in United’s Premier League draw against Arsenal.

Speaking ahead of United’s trip to City Ground, Amorim confirmed the two players are back and available for the cracker against the high-flying Nuno Espirito’s side.

The return of Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro is a big boost to United, especially in the defence.

Also, Amorim confirmed January signing from Cerro Porteno Patrick Dorgu, who was suspended for three matches, will be available for action.

United are 13th in the Premier League table and will hope to return to secure victory against the Tricky Trees to boost their chances of qualifying for Europe next session.
