The Belgian midfield sensation will leave Manchester City at the end of the season after a decade of an illustrious club career.

He announced his imminent exit from the Etihad outfit on social media, thanking fans and the city for their support on and off the field.

Notably, with the 33-year-old’s imminent exit from City at the corner, there have been speculations on his next step and possible next career stop.

MySportDab understands clubs from Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer have been on the trail of the footballer and are interested in signing him as a free agent.

While it is yet unclear where De Bruyne will pit his tent after leaving City at the end of the season, he has confirmed his career plans.

In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, the six-time Premier League winner said he is open to a new deal with another club even in the Premier League.

However, he stated categorically that the new project must be appealing enough and also approved by his family before he will sign.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen. If teams come and then convince me that they have a nice sport-project”.

“Whatever project available- I am willing to listen. I love football – I love to play football,” he said as Fabrizio Romano quoted.

De Bruyne have had a stellar career with Manchester City. He has scored 107 goals, providing 174 assists in over 400 appearances, winning 16 trophies.

It is understood Manchester City are considering erecting a statute in his honor at the Etihad Stadium to immortalize his decades of heroic performances for the club.
