Chelsea put aside the speculations going on as they dominated play and created some early opportunities which they couldn’t convert them.
Bournemouth were on the clear until Nicolas Jackson beautifully beat his attackers and pass to Cole Palmer who calmly made it 1-0 in the 13th minute.
The goal from Palmer was brilliant as deceived the goalkeeper who was already down before he calmly slotted it in.
Chelsea continued doing so much on the pitch with Nicolas Jackson getting close before they headed for the break 1-0 ahead of Bournemouth.
The second half was close between both teams as they did everything possible pushing and making the opportunities.
Bournemouth did not give up easily as they kept at it pushing with so much as they wanted to make a comeback by all means possible.
Chelsea couldn’t do well enough as they conceded a penalty which saw Justin Kluivert stepped up and made things 1-1 in the 50th minute.
The game quickly turned against the Blues after a wonderful assist from Ryan Christie saw Anmakee Semenyo made things 1-2 in the 68th minute.
Reece James scored a direct freekick in the additional time of the encounter which saw Chelsea picking up one point after playing 1-1 against Bournemouth.
