Endrick scored a brace as Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo after extra time to progress to the next round of the Copa Del Rey, MySportDab reports.

The La Liga champions started the game on the front foot and were looking set to secure victory.

Seven minutes after the hour mark, Kylian Mbappe latched on an assist from Ceballos, dribbled his way into the box and beat the visitors’ goalkeeper with a thunderbolt into the roof the net.

The goal capped a dominant performance by the home side and it was enough to send them into the lead at the break.

In the second half, Vinicius Jr doubled the lead in the 48th minute to edge the team close to victory, thanks to an assist by Brahima Diaz.

With a 2-0 lead, the Carlo Ancelotti-led side were closing in on victory at the regulation time but a dramatic comeback by Celta Vigo turned the game around.

Seven minutes before regulation time, Bamba scored to halve the deficit for the away side.

The game was poised for a nervy finish with the scoreline at 2-1 as Celta pushed hard for an equalizer.

In the first minute of stoppage-time, Real Madrid’s hope of victory at regulation time suffered a blow when they conceded a spot-kick due to Asencio’s challenge.

Alonso converted it flawlessly to tie the score at 2-2 after full time, dragging proceedings into the extra time.

In extra time, Real Madrid scored three unreplied goals to glide past the hard-fighting opponents. Endrick scored two of the three goals with Valverde netting one to secure victory.
