Al Nassr coach Stefano Pioli revealed the reason behind Cristiano Ronaldo being absent from the team, MySportDab reports.
There has been numerous talks concerning the player not making the team that traveled to Iran for a match.
Stefano Pioli has made it clear on the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo was left behind while others made their way.
There have been a lot happening with the team as they kept dropping points which have kept them behind for the title chase.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the reason Ronaldo was unable to go with the Al Nassr team to Iran.

“Cristiano Ronaldo “had a physical problem”, says Al Nassr manager Stefano Pioli.
“I wouldn’t say it was 100% a big problem, but we preferred him not to be in the game”.
“I’m sorry Ronaldo didn’t come to Iran, we didn’t want to risk him getting injured”.
The Portuguese legend is expected to make a return back to the team ahead of their next match in the League.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been unable to make much difference with the team despite scoring so many goals this season to lead the League’s highest goal scorers.
