Seven doctors and nurses are set to stand trial over the death of Diego Maradona which happened years ago, MySportDab reports.
The Argentina legend death was seen as suspicious with some medical personalities said to have played a role.
Among the medical personnel listed on the Diego Maradona death trial, his neurosurgeon and family doctor are among them.
Leopoldo Luque and psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov are said the be facing a trial on negligence on their profession.
The Argentina legendary football player died in 2020 while in his sleep, and it was confirmed that he had cardiac arrest.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed that a trial case is expected to happen concerning the death of Maradona.

“Originally scheduled for June 4, the trial has been delayed twice.
“If convicted, the medical professionals could face up to 25 years in prison.
