Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta has revealed that his players performance in the Europa League win over Dundalk is giving him a lineup headache ahead of the Manchester United game, MySportDab reports.

Mikel Arteta admitted that some of his players have given him a lot to think about for Sunday’s Premier League match against Manchester United.

In a fresh team on Thursday, Arteta make 10 changes to his team.

Sead Kolasinac, Granit Xhaka, and Shkodran Mustafi played  in the three centre-back positions in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

The Gunners scored three goals in four minutes, by Nketiah and Joe Willock in the first half before Pepe’s goal in the second half.

The team in the Europa League allowed Arteta to rest players like Hector Bellerin, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Thomas Partey, Alexandre Lacazette, and Gabriel Magalhaes ahead of Sunday’s game.

But the performances of Pepe, Willock, and Nketiah has made it difficult for Arteta to pick him Starting XI for the Manchester United match.

Speaking to BT Sport, Arteta said: “We made it look very easy because we were disciplined, we played in a serious way and did well from the beginning.

“You can see what can happen from the other matches the dangers when you face when your team is not 100 per cent.

“Yes, We made changes, we gave opportunities to players that deserved it and I think they played very well.

“We have a good squad and I want to give everyone an opportunity. There were players who were patient and trained well.

“They showed they are prepared whenever we need them and today they made it difficult for my selection.

“Sometimes when they are not picked to play, it’s not something that they can do anything about, it’s because we have to pick players and sometimes we go for others. There’s nothing from their end that they can do.

“It is about the quality, and maybe the tactical plan that we have for a match. I am pleased with the performance.

“After losing against Leicester it was painful.

“It was difficult to digest in days but we have to react immediately with a win, with this attitude, and now we go travel to Old Trafford and to win again.”

Arsenal and Manchester United are 11th and 15th before Sunday’s Premier League encounter.

The Gunners are winless in the Premier league at Old Trafford since 2006.
