Erling Haaland To Manchester United? Real Madrid? – Borussia Dortmund REACTS!

Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has dismissed claims that Erling Haaland could leave next summer, MySportDab reports.

Top clubs across like Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all been linked with the striker.

Manchester United have a long interest in Haaland, with the Red Devils failing to sign him back in January.

Despite reports that Haaland could leave Dortmund at the end of the season, Zorc believes the player will stay for a very long time.

Speaking ahead of Dortmund’s Bundesliga match against Koln, Zorc said: “We plan to have Erling for a long time. The rumours don’t have to be dealt with at all. I see him with us for years.

“You can’t ground him at all. He has such a positive dynamic. Why should we affect that?

“He is leading the way forward, that is great for us. I do not believe in slowing positive developments.”

Haaland has now scored 33 goals in his first 31 matches at Borussia Dortmund but it is unlikely United will try to sign him next summer.

United have the likes of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Edinson Cavani in attacking positions.

MySportDab understands that Manchester United will focus new signings on the right over the next two transfer windows.

Their plan is to sign a right-winger, with their unsuccessful attempt to sign Jadon Sancho last summer.

Manchester United are also in search of a right-back who can go forward than current player Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The former Crystal Palace player has impressed defensively since his Old Trafford transfer but there are concerns about his attacking ability.
