Former Arsenal player Patrick Vieira has been finally sacked by Nice following a bad run of form which led to fans protest for him to resign, MySportDab reports.
The manager was fire from his job as manager of the club due to his inability to bring success to the team for a long time.
Patrick Vieira who took over at Nice in 2018 has finally been sent packing after poor run of form which placed the team 11th place on the lead table.
The 44-year-old former France international had also been criticised by fans for Nice’s uninspiring style of play which lead to many bad results.
Vieira leaves the club, who are hoping to qualify for Europe again this season, 11th in the Ligue 1 table.
His last domestic game in charge saw Nice draw 1-1 with Dijon who are currently bottom of the Ligue 1 table.
While Patrick Vieira’s final match came on Thursday which they lost 3-2 to Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League Cup game.
The tactics made several Nice fans protesting against his management outside the stadium before kick-off.
He has been officially sacked by Nice and they are currently in search of a new manager to take over the vacant position.
