Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has the support of majority of the players in the dressing room, MySportDab reports.

The Norwegian and his team crashed out of the Champions League after a 3-2 loss against RB Leipzig on Tuesday evening.

Now, it means Manchester United will play in the Europa League again like last season.

United went to Germany knowing that just a point or avoid defeat is enough to reach the knockout stages of the competition.

However, on a chaotic night of Champions League football, the Red Devils flopped to a 3-2 defeat.

Angelino, Amador Haidara and Justin Kluivert all scored for RB Leipzig despite late efforts from Manchester United to secure a comeback.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Most of the Manchester United players in the dressing room still support him while a few think otherwise.

On Tuesday night, Fans on social media demanded for the Norwegian to be sacked after the defeat in Germany.

Possible replacements Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri are still available without a job.

A small number of Manchester United players feel Solskjaer is to blame for United’s form at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer is now the first manager of an English club to lose six of his first 10 matches in the Champions League.

But most of the United squad members, want him to stay at the club.

Also, some squad members believe that selling Paul Pogba would be the right move forward for the club after his agent Mino Raiola’s comments.

Speaking ahead of the RB Leipzig match on Tuesday, Raiola that Pogba was eager to quit Old Trafford for a new challenge.

“There’s no need to be running around the bush. It’s better to speak out, plan ahead and avoid wasting time,” he said.

“Paul is clearly unhappy at Manchester United, he can’t express himself like he wants to and like so many people expect him to.

“He needs a change of team, a change of scenery.

“He’s contract at Old Trafford will expire in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but the best solution is a transfer in the next transfer window.

“Otherwise the Old Trafford club, know they would risk losing him for free, given that right now it’s not the player’s interest to extend his contract.”
