Scottish League side Rangers has confirmed that no contact has been made with Chelsea to sign Billy Gilmour on loan says Steven Gerrard, MySportDab reports.
The youngster will be hoping Frank Lampard approves a loan move for him in the January transfer window to enable him go out and get game time.
There are many top clubs in Europe seeking to get the Chelsea youngster on loan, with the likes of Napoli also eyeing a possible loan move to buy.
Billy Gilmour recently recovered from a long term injury which forced him out since last season after breaking into the Blues first team.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has insisted there has been no contact with Chelsea with regards to a loan move for Billy Gilmour.
Blues boss Frank Lampard has been mulling over whether to let the midfielder head out of the club on a temporary basis to let him get game time.
Although Gerrard says nothing has happened with Rangers over the possible loan move for the prolific midfielder who is wanted by many clubs.
“He’s a fabulous little player but there has been no contact between the clubs or the managers,” Gerrard said, according to the Evening Standard.
No report has been confirmed yet but a possible loan move is on the table for the youngster who needs to get more playing time.
