Chelsea Striker Tammy Abraham has rejected a new contract offer from the club, MySportDab reports.
The Blues’ top goalscorer wants equal pay with the club’s highest earners in order to sign a new deal.
Abraham has been in negotiations on a new deal throughout the season, but things have gone backward now.
This isn’t the first time talks have failed this season, as he previously rejected numerous offer by Chelsea in December.
MySportDab reports Abraham demands the same pay as Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is currently the club’s highest earner.
The winger signed a new contract worth £180,000-per-week at the start of this season, and MySportDab can confirm that Abraham wants equal pay in order to extend his contract.
Abraham’s contract runs until the summer of 2022, so there is no rush to get the deal agreed.
Chelsea’s January transfer window was dominated by rumours and links with strikers as the club was desperate to sign a new forward.
The Blues still failed to bring in any new faces, and instead they have decided to play Olivier Giroud up top with Abraham still injured.
Tammy Abraham has been impeesive this season, scoring 13 goals in 25 Premier League matches.
He has also missed a host of games, and has barely featured due to an ankle problem.
Abraham played lasted 20 minutes against Tottenham, and missed the games against Manchester United and Bournemouth.
He came off the bench in the Champions League against Bayern Munich, but was unable score in the 3-0 defeat.
