Lionel Messi has not started talks with either Manchester City Or PSG about a transfer this summer, MySportDab reports.

Messi is delaying his decision on where next after he leaves Barcelona at the end of the season.

Messi has only five months left on his current Barcelona contract at the Nou Camp.

The Argentine is expected to leave Barcelona after over two decades this summer.

He handed in a transfer request at end of last season, informing the club of his desire to quit by burofax.

Now, According to Goal, Messi is yet to make a final decision about if he will extend his deal or not.

With Messi’s contract coming to the end, there are many top clubs looking to sign him this summer.

Goal claim that the links with PSG are ‘premature’ and Messi has not spoken to anyone at the French club.

There were also no talks with his former Barca coach Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

A move to the Manchester City would also see Messi reunite with close friend Sergio Aguero in the Premier League.

The pair have played together over the years for the Argentina national team.

But he could also play for his fellow countryman Pochettino at PSG, where he would link up alongside superstars such as Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Messi is now free to speak to various clubs about a possible transfer but he is in no hurry to decide on his future.

Reports claim that Messi plans to speak about his final decision at the end of the current 2020-21 season.

Barcelona face a tough battle to win the LaLiga title this season with Atletico Madrid currently ten points.

Only a few clubs in world football have the financial ability to pay Messi’s lucrative wage demands.

The recent leak from Spain revealed that his fixed salary, image rights, tax and variables amounts to €555,237,619 (£492m).

Lionel Messi is Barcelona top scorer in their history with 650 goals and has been a key part of the team over the last two decades.

He has helped Barcelona win the Champions League four times and 10 LaLiga titles.
