De Bruyne and Gundogan ensured Man City qualified for the next round of the UEFA Champions League after beating Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 to finish 4-0 on aggregate, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was an entertaining first half encounter in which Pep Guardiola’s side dominated play all through as they also scored twice.

Kevin de Bruyne gave Man City the lead in the 13th minute of the game after a nice break in play which saw the Belgian being assisted by Riyad Mahrez to make it 1-0.

Borussia Monchengladbach failed to deal with the pressure as Gundogan scored the second goal in the 18th minute which saw the scoreline changed to 2-0.

The second half of the encounter kicked off with a high pace from the away side who looked eager to fight back while the home team just pass the ball around.
