Gabriel Jesus scored the only goal as Man City beat Chelsea 0-1 to claim a huge victory which moves them up, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A poor first half coming from both sides who couldn’t make anything happen despite the manner in which the 45 minutes played out.
It wasn’t looking good for Chelsea who started the game badly as they were pressured so much into losing the ball most of the early minutes of play.
Man City had total dominance pressing the Blues from London very hard but find it difficult to break into their defense and make any attempt on goal as the match progressed.
It wasn’t looking good as no goal was recorded despite the pressure from the Citizens which lasted all through the 45 minutes as they near the final stages of play.
The first half ended with Chelsea 0-0 Man City as they both headed for the break without any goal coming from both sides after a dry 45 minutes of football.
Second Half Report
The second half started brightly with the game sparking to live as opportunities an attempts on the goalkeepers started coming up.
Man City finally took the lead in the 53rd minute of the game as Gabriel Jesus was able to finish off after getting assists from Joao Cancelo to make it 0-1 for his team.
It wasn’t looking good for Chelsea who netted one in the 63rd minute, but it was ruled out due to Kai Havertz who was offside before the goal was scored.
The game continued with the home side doing all the work to make sure they bounce back level as it progressed with few minutes left on the clock.
More coming as they entered into the closing stages which already saw the home team getting two yellow cards in quick succession.
The match finally came to an end with Chelsea 0-1 Man City which saw Pep Guardiola getting the last laugh after 90 minutes of football.
