A late penalty miss from Bruno Fernandes saw Man United lost 0-1 to Aston Villa as Kortney Hause scored the winner, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half wasn’t that good for Manchester United who could have made things happened but failed in every aspect of the game.
Things was looking good for Aston Villa who had total control of everything going on around them as their opponent made their intentions of scoring known.
Man United looked good in attacking and making opportunities, but all their efforts couldn’t result in anything good for them as the encounter carried on.
It was beginning to look like a wasteful 45 minutes as Manchester United looked like a team who lack firepower and ability to make their advantage count in the game.
The first half came to an end with Man United being held to a goalless scoreline which saw them heading for the break with 0-0 against Aston Villa.
Second Half Report
The second half started out the same way the first 45 minutes ended with so much pressure from the Red Devils who were good.
Aston Villa carried on soaking all the pressure coming from their opponent who continued to terrorise their defenders with attempts of scoring.
Nothing could come out of everything being done by Man United who looked lively and the better between both teams who couldn’t make anything happen.
The game carried on into the last few minutes which the only thing coming was wasted opportunities from both ends of the pitch.
Kortney Hause scored for Villa in the 88th minute after rising above everyone to head the ball inside the net to make the scoreline 0-1 for his side with corner from Douglas Luiz.
Manchester United immediately were given a penalty which Bruno Fernandes stepped up and ballooned it away without scoring late in the match.
The game finally ended with Man United 0-1 Aston Villa as Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t make anything happen with the Red Devils losing back to back games.
