Cristiano Ronaldo went straight down the tunnel angry after Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Everton, MySportDab reports.

Before the match started, fans were shocked to see that Cristiano Ronaldo was starting on the bench for United.

United first scored through Anthony Martial in the first half but failed to score a winner after Andros Townsend scored for Everton in the second half.

After the final whistle, Ronaldo was seen alone and looked angry as he stormed down the tunnel.

Since Ronaldo returned back to Manchester United, the Red Devils have now failed to win four out of their seven matches across all competitions.

This is the second match they have dropped points unnecessarily at Old Trafford after last week’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa.

When asked about Ronaldo’s reaction after the game, United Legend Rio Ferdinand said he could ‘understand’ his frustration.

He said: ‘He is obviously disappointed about the result. He scored five in five, he wanted to continue and help his team to victory.

‘With the depth of the squad that United have, they should have gotten that done. Everton didn’t have any first-choice strikers. Nine matches without a clean sheet is very poor.’

Ferdinand’s co-pundit Jermaine Jenas was left confused about why Ronaldo was benched for the match.

Many fans were quick to express their anger at Solskjaer, with social media fans frustrated at his decisions before the game.

One United fan said: ‘Does Ole think this is a cup match!?’

Another fan added: ‘Pogba Ronaldo are not starting but Martial Fred McTominay start! Clearly has no plan.!’

Another United fan suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be sacked immediately.
