Manchester United Consider AC Milan’s Franck Kessie As Paul Pogba Replacement!

Manchester United have now identified AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie as potential Paul Pogba replacement, MySportDab reports.

Franck Kessie has emerged as a potential top target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team if Paul Pogba leaves.

United are in search of a dynamic midfielder and remain uncertain about the contract situation of Paul Pogba.

Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford will expire in June 2022, and he can leave for free at the end of the season.

In January, the Frenchman will be free to speak to other clubs and agree his next club transfer.

Now, Manchester United have started to monitor the situation about Franck Kessie at AC Milan.

According to Italian Newspaper Calcio Mercato, United are now seriously interested in the 24-year-old midfielder Franck Kessie.

Other clubs like Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in Kessie.

United remain committed to ensure Pogba signs a new contract but must now consider replacements.

Club chiefs want to situation solved before the second half of the season to prevent it affecting the team.

United remain in regular talks with agent Mino Raiola to reach an agreement on a new contract that could be worth £400,000-a-week.

The Red Devils are understood to be very confident over the past few months that the Frenchman will sign a new contract.

But, United are also aware of interest in Pogba from PSG and Real Madrid.

During the transfer window, reports suggested that PSG were ready to offer Pogba £510,000-a-week wages to join them for free next summer.

Pogba has impressed so far this season with seven assists already in as many matches.

His potential replacement, Franck Kessie will also become a free agent next summer as his AC Milan contract runs out.
