Chelsea might explore the option of terminating Billy Gilmour loan move to Norwich City due to comments from manager, MySportDab reports.

The Scotland International has been impressive before getting to make the loan move to Norwich City which was to help him get regular playing time.

Billy Gilmour has recently been dropping out of the starting lineup for couple of games and Chelsea are not happy about the situation.

The Premier League leaders might consider recalling the youngster back from Norwich City ahead of the January window.

Other clubs showed interest in signing the midfielder which Chelsea had to accept the newly promoted side who are now struggling and their players not playing much.

The Blues have seen the Scottish as their future replacement in the midfield but they want his development to be smooth as more game time will help him so much.

Chelsea could recall Billy Gilmour from Norwich City six months early than his current long term agreement, according to reports coming from The Daily Express.

The youngster is taking in a season-long loan at Carrow Road, but Chelsea may bring him back in January if he is not given more playing time in the coming weeks as they approach half way of the season.

Norwich manager Daniel Farke has said of Gilmour’s recent absence from his starting XI:

“There is no pressure (to play Gilmour). We are not here to develop players for other clubs, we are here to win points for this club.”

This didn’t go well with Chelsea who is now looking into recalling the midfielder if things remain the same way as they approach the January window.

They might be looking at the option of sending him elsewhere as other clubs will be keen on signing the youngster for the remainder of the season where he will play regularly.
