“We Are Guilty” – Luke Shaw Reacts To Embarrassing Loss At Old Trafford

0 comments

Manchester United and England left back, Luke Shaw has reacted to the devastating loss at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, MySportDab reports.

The defender who would not be left out of the hook over the defensive issues the club has been facing didn’t let out himself either as well as his teammates.

He stated that the outcome of the game was as a result of how bad they have been playing.

He said;

“The outcome of the game was only the result of our energy and the way we played.

“We didn’t do well, that’s the fact and we all have to take responsibility for these kind of results.”

He added: “I am fully aware that my performance wasn’t good enough. As a team we know that we can be better but for me I can also do better than I was today.

“That’s why I am speaking to you, and telling you this. We must first look at ourselves first. Are we taking part in the right preparations for the games in ourselves?

“We know how the manager wants us to play from his tactics. It is obvious that  we’re very easy to play through.

“You can watch the first goal, We need to be play more as a team and be far better.”

After a good run at the Euros, Luke Shaw has failed to implement the same level of play on returning to his club side.

Manchester United are now with a minus goal difference after nine games having gone 21 games in all competitions and having a single clean sheet to themselves.

They currently sit seventh on the English Premier League league table.

Manchester United have a host of difficult matches still coming up over the next few weeks.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be sacked by the Manchester United board anytime soon.
